It was Friday, January 22, 2016, when I first laid eyes on her. Looking so beautiful… at the PTI football pitch during her matriculation to PTI. I remember my exact words to my friends: “Who is this beautiful girl?” For me, it felt like I had just seen the actual finest woman alive.
It was about 18 months down the line when I finally devised a way to get her number 😅. My words? “Hey Flora, let me have your number so when I view your status on WhatsApp, I won’t have to forget your name…” 😂
It was Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, when I first tried to get her attention 😏… in simple, clear words, replying to her status: “U are entering my eye 👀” I read through the chats that followed my message, and it was really funny 🤣 to see how we both tried to play it safe… I even made a screenshot 😅 — but not today…
It was Thursday, November 16, 2023, just after sundown 🌅 when I asked her to be my girlfriend. Since that moment, it's been nothing short of amazing ✨. She has become everything I ever prayed for 🙏 and everything I spent so long searching for — and so much more ❤️.
It was June 30th, under the stars ✨, when I went down on one knee 💍 and asked her to be mine, now and forever 🌟. That moment, time stood still. The world faded away, and it was just us two 💑. With trembling hands and a heart full of love, I asked the question that would change our lives forever. And when she said "YES!" 💕, I knew I had found my forever 🥰 — my best friend, my partner, my everything ❤️.
We decide to live together, never apart, joined as one heart.
He proposed on a decorated rooftop.
I had no idea what was coming. He’d written letters for me of key dates and moments to read at each step of the staircase, each one leading me closer to the rooftop. By the time I reached the top, my heart was racing.
The place was beautifully decorated, my friends were there, and then I saw him — waiting with the ring. It was such a sweet, thoughtful surprise that I’ll never forget. 💍✨
